My Sanddollar Place card, opinions please (pic)

Hey Ladies,
I definitely want to use sanddollars as place cards to match my beach themed wedding, i just havent been sure exactly how i wanted to do it, this was my 1st attempt what do you think. I wanted to write right on the sand dollar but they are very porous and it is hard to write on them, I will appreciate any advice you have. The sanddollar has a light spray glitter on them as well to 'jazz' em up a bit and you cant realy tell in the picture.

They are so cute....I love them...I went to a wedding and they used sand dollars for place cards....and What she did was she lined them up in a wood box that her father made...and filled the box with sand....hard to describe the box...but im sure you get teh idea....it was really cute..she also had a beach theme wedding...
