Hi, we have the same wedding date. I also have a huge guest list 363. Even though it is a holiday weekend, to my surprise people are calling and saying they are thrilled it is that weekend because they don't have to work on that Monday and the overseas guests are coming in also. You may want to suggest to your FMIL that she cut down on the invits or as you get a will not attend, send out another invit. Just a thought.

We invited about 200 people and had about 130 show up. Of course we had about 8 people say they would come and they didn't and we had to pay for their plates anyway but that always happens.
Some people didn't even call us and apologize for not showing up and we got married 2 months ago.

I am having 150-180 people.
But don't feel bad, one guy I work with had 740 guests. They invited 1200 people.
His mother is in politics, I guess that is why, but I don't even know that many people!

I am getting married the night before Thanksgiving(Wednesday). My family thinks there will be alot of NOs. I am sending the STD cards. What do you think?

It is hard to judge 20% or 30%. Definitely need a B list.
