My shower
My shower was this weekend and it was honestly the greatest shower they could have had for me. My sister and Mom planned everything and it came out exactly as I always would’ve wanted. It was at the Bonwit Inn in Commack and it was in one of their sunrooms, absolutely gorgeous! The food was amazing, so much so that you didn’t need a knife to cut through the chicken (I love those kind of places ?) My Mom and sister made these adorable invitations that had a picture of me in my communion dress (picture below), they made menus, Bingo cards (which everyone loved) and this game where they asked about 25 multiple choice questions about FH and I and the person who got the most right, won a prize! It was so funny to find out how little people knew about me (LOL) but they were all laughing hysterical. The prizes ranged from soft slippers and a cooling eye mask to melting oil candles. They were such great ideas. The favors were loofah’s and Bath and Body scented lotions with the tag saying: From Danielle’s shower to yours. My favorite gift was the one from my bridal party that had about 12 bottles of wines and little tags attached of poems that said when you can drink them ranging from for when I visit one of my bridesmaids in London to after a first snow fall. It was so great and so amazing!
