My Shower -Edited

HI Everyone,

My shower is in TX and I just flew in on Thursday! Last night I helped my mother with the shower favors. I must show you when I return to NY. (next week) They are perfect for Beach themed weddings or showers. My parents live off the Coast in Corpus Christi, and the restaurant we are having the party is right by the water. So we thought it would be perfect! (since we can't use them for our winter wedding in NY) ha ha

It's kinda early to have my shower, but the next time I will be here in TX would be for X-mas and I think that is the worst time to have a shower.

Description of my favor: mini Chocolate Sea Shells in Milk, Dark, White, and Peanut Butter chocolate inside a Large Chocolate Sea Shell (white) with Light Brown Sugar to represent the sand. Wrap them up in Cellophane (wording?) and used personalized Ribbon. We placed 3 mini seashells inside. It turned out beautifully. Then After the Fact.....my MOH mentioned oh we should of also used mini pearls. Oh Well, can't remember everything. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I bought edible dusting powder for the white sandollar to add pearly shine. Also, we bought coral dusting powder to the peanut butter chocolate. We had to make 60!

We bought the chocalates, molds and personalized ribbon at Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale on Main Street. However, the personalized ribbon is less expensive at Wrap with us in Sysosett. Didn't find out til later.

I can't wait! I am having LIW.com withdrawals.

Next weekend, I am going to San Antonio. I'm going to be MOH at my Friends Wedding so I Will take pictures! Bye!

HOwdy from Texas!!! Thank you Girls! I had a great time at my shower. We played lots of games and I received lots of Gifts! My favors were a hit! My guests asked if they were edible because the sugar really looked like sand. Hee Hee They couldn't believe we made them. I'll show ya'll (southern drawal) the pictures when I return to NY!
