My FMIL is throwing me a shower in PA this weekend and I am so nervous. I am not going to really know a lot of the people there (I've met some of them once or twice) since it will be a lot of FMIL's friends. My mom and grandmother will be there, and 1 or 2 of my BMs but I am nervous I am not going to remember who everyone is!
And I have no idea what to wear!

My MIL is doing the exact same thing for me. Do not worry about a thing. it just goes to show you how excited these people are to meet you and welcome you into their circle.

remember they are there for you b/c they want to be. i'd dress semi-up..maybe a cute skirt or capris and heels.
have fun and enjoy it....mine went by soooo fast

i would go casual but cute - skirt or sundress..
i had my shower in syracuse and was soo nervous too.. i wore black pants and a sweater - i was nervouse too - but i know his immediate fam VERY well and his siters were soo good to me....
day of the shower - his aunts and cousins - well - they didnt really chat with me and didnt make any comments as i opened gifts - it was strange.. but his sisters and SIL were great and made it fun..

Enjoy and don't be nervous! Just wear a nice skirt and top and a cute pair of sandals. You'll be fine!

don't worry everybody is there because they want to honor and celebrate YOU! and it will be so easy to make conversation with people because they will ask you lots of detail questions about your wedding.
