I had a few drinks before mine and was really very nervous walking in. Once we got there and I got passed the 'Surprise' part (which it wasn't but no one but my bridesmaids and me know that) it was great. I had a drink within minutes of walking in the door and then I walked around and said hi to everyone. Just as I was to the last person boom...was time for lunch, as soon as they cleared the plates...boom presents. Opening the presents goes by quick..for the undie things give a quick second to thank and move on. One of the reasons that people get you underwear is to see you wiggle when you open it up. The minute we were done with presents it was time for cake. Then just like that it was all over. My bridesmaids were with me every step of the way and made it very easy on me.

Funny little side story. I was left at the place. Everyone (my mother, sister, bridesmaids, aunt I mean everyone) left assuming I was getting a ride with another person. I walked out and everyone was gone. I had to walk back in the place and ask to use the phone. I did not have my cell phone on me, no money, no cigarettes, no credit cards, no ID...NOTHING. When I asked for to use the phone the guy behind the bar was like 'uhhhhhmmm, wasn't that party in your honor' I had to say 'yes, can you believe they all left me' I used the phone he made me a drink (on the house...wasn't that sweet) and me and the bartender shared quite a few minutes of laughs while I was waiting.
