What a day it was!!! I was very surprised!!! It was at the Garden Grill in Smithtown. I love that place. The food and cake were excellent.
I got so much stuff!! I am scanning some pictures so I will add them to this post as soon as they are done. I got all my kitchen and bathroom stuff and lots of other goodies!! It was such a great day!!

T: The gift that meant the most was from my best friend...she made me a quilt...it had all pictures of me and my family...she scanned the pics and then used iron on transfer paper and had all the pics in different borders...she put it inside a hope chest with a beautiful poem on the outside...she had it folded so when I opened it I saw my parents...I lost both of my parents...so it meant so much to me that she took the time to make it so meaningful. Well...after i finished sobbing...I was able to continue on with the shower....she truly is an amazing friend...I am so lucky to have her in my life!!!

I wanted to start up a family quilt and have all my family and fh's family send in a pic and do the same.. I plan on sending out a letter with requests for pics after the wedding..

T: I do not have a pic of the quilt....with all the crying going on, my GF didn't take one...I am having it framed...I will post it as soon as it's done. My FI has it with him today to go get the framing done.
It really is such a special feeling! That quilt sounds beautiful! I had tears in my eyes reading about it - you truly are lucky! You are so close - how are you holding up!

Thanks Tammy!! I think my daughter was just as surprised!! She had no idea what was happening...she's in front of me in the pic.
Tracy: I was balling!!! I can't wait to get a pic so I can share it with all of you... I am an emotional wreck these days...I am only a little over 3 weeks away....My poor FI...he's just rolling with the punches...I was so mean to him before my shower...I was just being a bit ch and whining about everything and he was just doing what he was told...Get me there on time!!! I am still apologizing to him!!!
