My shower was Saturday too!!!!

It was awesome! My MOH, my mom and my bridesmaids did an amazing job! It wasn't a surprise (my request) -- but it was still wonderful and overwhelming!

It was at Ponticello's in Astoria -- the food was OUTSTANDING! It has a very high rating in the Zagat's guide, and I understand why!

We had fresh mozzarella, tomatos and roasted red peppers on the table family style. Then we each had a hot appetizer (stuffed mushrooom, eggplant rollatini, jumbo shrimp, and 2 stuffed clams). Then we had gnocchi with filleto pomodro sause. The main course was a choice: chicken francise, veal marsala, and filet of sole. Dessert was tiramitsu!! It was sooo yummy!

We were also in a private room -- I'd definitely recommend it for an event. They also have a parking lot...

I will attempt to post some pictures!
