My sister got engaged!! Updated with pics of their RH
So my sister got engaged this past week! Her bf surprised her and took her to Antigua! Im soooo excited for them!! She probably won't come on here at all, she thinks sites like this are dumb They are setting a date for spring 2009, since they have a lot of issues since her fiance is canadian and not a citizen and then they are moving to canada Anyways, since FH and I are lazy arses and haven't even done a thing in terms of our planning, I think we are just going to put it off for a while and see where things go with my sister's planning and all that. I'll still be on here getting lots of advice, and hopefully doing a little bit of our own stuff eventually though! Have a great weekend ladies!!!

Congrats! My sis just got engaged recently too. She is planning hers for 2010 since mine is in 2009. It will be fun to plan together! I already shoved a huge pile of bridal mags at her and told her to get her butt on this site!

Its called Reid Castle. Its at Manhattanville College in Purchase, which is where my sis and her FH went to school and met

Wow, thats so weird! What year did you graduate? I've been there a few times to visit her while she was there and they had some part of graduation in the castle, so I've been there before. I can't wait to see it all done up for a wedding though!

I graduated in 2004.
I actually saw it dressed up for a wedding a couple of times......it looks GORGEOUS!
Are they getting married at the chapel next to it too? 3 girls that I went to school with are doing their ceremony on campus and then having their receptions elsewhere.

wow, my sis graduated in 2005! Maybe you knew her? I know its a small school :) Did you play any sports there?
I think they are going to do the ceremony in the chapel but Im not totally sure about that. I love that chapel with all the stained glass!
