my younger sister got engaged on christmas we went looking at dresses today what a longggggggggg day ...
heres 1 pic of her i was able to sneak and why arent we aloud to take pictures anyway ?
I would think that it would be easier for a bride to decide what dress to pic if she could. i know my mother cant come with me to look at dresses but i would love to be able to show her what i look like in them and let her help me make a decision.

They don't let you take pictures because you may buy the dress elsewhere or have someone make you a replica. At least that's my understanding.

today we wer ein davids bridal but when i went to commack wedding center i brought my camera and the girl told me that know one is aloud to take pictures there and that wedding stores have a strict policy on that So I asume its all wedding store ....

I think there may be a few that will let you, but most won't. None of the stores I went to would allow it until you put a down payment.
ETS: I didn't say it made sense, in fact I think it's pretty stupid, but that's 'store policy'

How exciting planning a wedding around the same time together. Your family must be going nuts.. :- )
RK Bridal told me the same thing about the pictures. They even had a sign in the fitting room and the attendant watched the whole time. She said that the dress designers do not like it b/c they are afraid you will have the dress made... didn't make sense to me b/c the pics are in magazines and all over the internet.

i really think it is a very stupid rule !! Maybe they are counting on people not being bright enough to figure that out . i tried on my dress today too ....im not ordering it until it goes on sale since now i have over a year to plan ... maybe ill even try on a few more ...

I think it's a silly rule too. It really pissed me off at first. Whenever I get dressed up to go anywhere special I make FH take a digital picture of me so I can see what I look like. For some reason the image I see in the mirror is so different in my head. I'm Weird.

camera phones are great !! we just told the girl we needed something else and when she wasnt around we took the pic
but every time we really liked one there was nothing to distract her

My little sister is getting married too! Her wedding is first (in March) and mine is in Sept. I was fun getting to plan with her. We are each paying for our own wedding! If our parents were paying there would be no way to have it in the same year.
I meet her at the hospital when Bella was born? the picture is fuzzy, it looked little to me! Send Phil and Denise and for me, I don't think I know her though, lol! i hear shes a nice girl What does her ring look like? My friend Georgia just got engaged, her ring is so pretty.
