Thanks don! She's 24 and more if the independent, wants to contribute to society type person.....we are VERY different.

I'd love at least the CHANCE to stay at home without kids...doesn't mean I'll like it. It would be nice to say my DH makes that much money that we can if I wanted to.....

I said the same thing at 24- about beign a SAHM. The closer you get, the more likely one is to change your mind or at least have more of an open mind to it... Personally- I couldn't be a SAHW without kids. I just wouldn't know what to do with myself and just get lazy. BEing a SAHM- thats different- I don't think you can be bored being a SAHM- too much to do!

I am with you Shana...I would love to be a SAHW!!!! Right now, DH and I are planning on me being a SAHM. I might work part time just so I can keep my travel benifits (I am a travel agent)

Can you afford to be a SAHW?
If it is a yes, then by all means do what you want
to do. It is your life and you should never let anyone make you feel bad about
the decisions that are right for YOU!
I could never do that...i would be bored out of my mind...
