FH;s father came home last night from visiting his mother in FL (FH's grandma). She had sent back with him a beautiful garter that she MADE for me for the wedding. I was sad when I opened it because she may not be at the wedding (she has cancer). I will take a pic of it when I get home.

That is really nice of her, I know its difficult to think someone might not be there to celelbrate, My FH's very closest brother passed away 2 yrs ago from a Brain tumor at the age of 31. We miss him and its hard.
Hopefully she might make it to the wedding.

That was so sweet of her. Sending wishes and that she will be able to share in your special day. The wonderful thing is that no matter what happens you'll always have that to remember her by.
