My (somewhat) nontraditional song choices...what do you think??

Before you read - do you think a song 3 min and 31 sec long is long enough for 7 couples, plus FH and his parents (together), to walk to?

Ceremony:

Prelude: Some classical mix of stuff
Processional: 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)' by The Proclaimers
Bride's Entrance: 'All I Want Is You' by U2
Recessional: 'I Will Follow You into the Dark' by Death Cab for Cutie

Cocktail Hour:

Mix of late 60s music

Reception:

Bridal Party and Parents Intro.: 'Love Me Do' by The Beatles
Bride and Groom Intro.: Star Wars theme!
First Dance: 'You're My Best Friend' by Queen
Joint Dance - Bride/Father, Groom/Mother: 'Three Times a Lady' by The Commodores
Cake Cutting: 'Grow Old With You' by Adam Sandler
Bouquet Toss: 'Another One Bites the Dust' by Queen
Garter Removal: 'I'm Too Sexy' by Right Said Fred
Final Song: '(I've Had) The Time of My Life' by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes

Nice! FH and I have to do our list tonight! The DJ sets up the final meeting after we fax him the worksheet.....we can't make up our mind about anything!

I love it! Especially the kookier ones like Adam Sandler's song! I love that! And major Kudos especially from my DH for the Death Cab song too!!

I did somewhat untraditional music for our ceremony and got so many compliments on it. We had live performers who were awesome. My BP processional was 'You've Got A Friend' on guitar, my processional was 'When You Say Nothing At All' -Allison Kraus the first verse and chorus were sung as I went down the aisle. Hearing the melody and the words made me get choked up as I got closer to the alter. And our recessional was 'Better Together' by Jack Johnson.

Same date we have and same first dance song here! I've always wanted Best Friend as our first song. Such a sweet simple and true.
We are walking into Baba O'Reilly and parents/bridal party into ACDC.
Cocktail hour is a mix of new wave, classic and punk rock.
Great choices.

glad to see some non-traditional songs! FH and I both are big indie rock people (needless to say Celine and Whitney Houston made it to the do not play list)
