I took my son for presurgical testing today he is only 3 but so tough he didnt even cry when they took his blood. He is having a partial adenoidectomy and his tonsils removed. I am soo nervous for my lil boy. I don't want him to be in pain My older son and him are the best boys. I am such a lucky mom.
I know, that you, as a Mom, probably can't help but worry ... But Tonsil removal is super common, and when they are young like your lil boy is, recovery time is much shorter. He will do great, he's probably psyched about all the ice cream he will be able to eat!

OMG, your sons are such heartbreakers!! Watch out little ladies!!!
Being a teacher, I've had bunches of students go through this surgery...the boys say its awesome because then the girls cater to them (I teach HS)!
Even though it's a mothers right and job (as my mom puts it) to worry, I'm sure he'll be a trooper and come out of it rip, roaring to go...and he'll have his big brother to take care of him!!

They are super adorable!
He'll do fine! Just remind him that eating the popsicles and drinking the juice will help his throat feel better (at least it did for me when I had the same thing done as a kid)

Your sons are so cute, they really do look like nice boys too. I can tell from that one picture. Beautiful eyes too! I wish you and your son the best. It's a very common procedure, he will be fine!

Aww he is so adorable! Good luck on the surgery. Just don't let him see you cry or be nervous. I remember when i was 8 I had heart surgery and my parents did a great job of not letting me see them be scared.
ETA: I did not realize both were your boys, so both are adorable!

Your son will be fine! My prayers are with him. My niece had that surgery about a year ago and she is so much healthier now after the surgery than she was before. So even though its hard it is the best for them! I know its probably harder on you than your son. You'll get through it and you'll see that it was the best thing your could have done! Good luck!

Awww so cute, he will be fine! I know as a mom I would be a nervous wreck too. I had my tonsils out when I was 9. It was great, I remember being in bed watching cartoons and eating ice pops. Whats better than that when you are a kid??
