**My (sort of) Goodbye!!!**
I could begin by saying that I can't believe that it's my time, but after over a year and a half of planning...I CAN believe it lol! I can't wait to leave for Connecticut tomorrow, and spend so much time with my family and friends and then marry my best friend on Saturday.
I said 'sort of' goodbye, because I'm going to still be posting---probably up until a couple of hours before I walk down that aisle! However, this is the last chunk of time that I have to write a long message. I have some errands to run this afternoon (including getting my tongue ring professionally taken out because I have no clue how to do that...and I just decided that I don't want it in for Saturday). Tonight we are packing the car...tomorrow off to Connecticut for our last appointment with The WoodWinds. On Thursday, we are meeting with the bakery and then all of our family and friends start coming up.
Now for some thank yous...
*Thanks to Ron, Liz, and Kim for creating this site. I would never have known of so many great vendors, ideas, and people. Although I'm getting married in CT, the majority of my vendors are from LI.
*Thanks to all of you ladies. It's really been a journey! We've been together through ups and downs, laughs, tears, and plenty of
I wish I would have gotten to know more of you better in real life, but that's what lifamilies is for, right? The journey isn't over yet. There's still another website for all of us to go to! Plus, I will absolutely be back here to see the rest of you ladies get married. I wouldn't miss that for the world.
*Renay, thank you for always being so supportive and sending me messages to check up on me when times have been tough. You are a wonderful woman, and Eric & I are SO happy that you will be there to celebrate with us this Saturday.
*Nina, I would NEVER have found my dress without you. I am in love with my gown, and you pointed me right in the direction of it! Thank you so much.
*Celia, I always remember when I was going through the crisis with switching to the Catholic Church, you said, 'Jen, if it were me, I'd get married in a Church.' Whenever I felt like giving up, I always remembered those words, and it really gave me the strength to push forward, and everything came together beautifully.
Renay, Gina, Lisa, and Rachel--can't wait to see you girls on Saturday!! I hope you're all ready to get your party on because it's going to be a rager!!!
Like I said, I'll still be around right up until the 13th, but since this is my goodbye message, I'll say it now: Catch ya ladies on the married side!![]()
