Sent out my STDs yesterday, so I figured I'd upload some pictures of them since FH and I spent a lot of time working on them!
I felt weird just sending a magnet by itself, so I made an insert and with the help of a friend, a nice corny poem to go on it plus some OOT guest info on the back. The inside of the insert we decided to emboss this compass rose pattern we found, and it looks awesome, (FH thought it was cool in a pirate way lol). I was originally going to stamp it but an artist friend of mine told me to emboss it cause its raised and looks way nicer and she was sooo right. Oh and if you find it weird there are addressed formally on the insert, blame that on FH, he insisted on that and I let him have his way I think it came out great though, so excited and soo happy they are sent and done with!
I love them!!! I bought magnets too and I had the same problem. I ordered little cards to put the magnets in but I was afraid to print them sicne they are an odd shape. Did you print yours??? How did you do it?? Thanks!

I put some more on my DIY info on the DIY topic, DIY Forum but as for printing I just used my old printer with the tiny envelopes and the insert.
For the insert, I made it like a sort of booklet so its not super tiny to print out, but its also possible to print the insert the same size as the envelopes. I actually used Open Office but its the same as Word - they have the envelope tool for printing envelopes - the weird size ones that came with my STDs, I just measured them and put in the custom size info. I used the same envelope for printing over and over until I got everything lined up just right, and the same with the inserts - I just used scrap paper cut to the right size to make all the trial prints until it was perfect.
