My student.... Be shocked!!! UPDATE

My friend called me earlier, she stayed late and saw my student sitting by the office. He attends the after school program and apparently... called someone the 'N' word, said that he cant watch HS musical because it makes his D*** (male part) so hard its going to explode and that when it does get hard stuff comes out...

I cant believe this came out of a 6 year olds mouth!!!!! Now ill have to deal with this tomorrow

UPDATE
So i spoke with the boy today.
He said that a boy in the park told him stuff but he only saw the boy 1 time (which i dont believe - he has said something like this in the past so i dont think it was this 1 boy) but also he said that a boy at his moms friends house has said stuff to him. Apparently our AP didnt know much about what happened so we called an Aide that works in the after school program and she didnt know what went on. She is going to find out today for us and let us know if they spoke to his mom. After i hear back im calling his mom to come in and ask her about this boy.

Nice parents this kid must have to have such things come out of a 6 year olds mouth!!! I don't care if you have older siblings, I had two and I never used such bad language and if I did my mom would wash my mouth out with soap!!

no he doesnt have any siblings. but he has cousins. his cousin is in my class too but same age. I dont know if there are older ones.. i will ahve to ask his mother!

its crazy, if he doesnt have older relatives then i wonder if its another kid in class and thats where hes getting it from...the mother said she doesn't know where he learns these things but obviously hes learning it from somebody, sad to know that somebody would expose such a young child

unfortunetly you cant do much these days without getting reported.. a kid says my mom put soap in my mouth and a teacher MAY decide to report it.. just because its scary if we dont recognize abuse

its really upsetting too because we (i co teach) were really feeling like we were getting through to him and his behavior was improving.
Hes not a BAD kid but like i said a know-it all, he calls out asks questions he knows the answers to etc.. stuff like that.. but now this.. its sad

wonderful! how sad is it that kids know this stuff?

A first grade girl in my class keeps calling us her girlfriend (as in GF not friend) haha

but thats why kids are sooo bad today.. by telling a kid to go sit in the corner isn't going to fully teach a kid manners by any means. I dunno maybe I'm old fashioned in this, never would I hit my child but soap in mouth if they use bad language would defiantly be used

But I do understand that as a teacher you do have to be careful with parents these days, which is such a sad story

it is disturbing that it came from the mouth of a 6 year old...i am a middle school teacher and am disgusted if i hear things like that at their age...6 years old is just way too young

Its horrible that kids know this stuff so early. I didnt know either of those words until well into Jr High I think. Im Af. amer. (well obviously, lol) and I never heard the N word growing up in my house...and If I said it today in front of my parents they would slap me and Im a grown woman. And the 'd' word....I would get the crap kicked out of me. It all comes from the home.

OMG! Not to assume the worst, but I hope this kid is not a victim of abuse!

Honestly, that is some pretty specific stuff for that kid to say. I certainly hope it is just the language he has been exposed to, but I would not be surprised if that kid has been abused. I'm an advocate for sexually abused children. Seriously, I don't think anyone has any idea how rampant this problem is (and I don't mean that in any condescending type of way...I just mean that in the way that it is awful how frequent these things happen).

im white and my parents would slap me if i said the N word
my students dont understand why i get upset when they say it -

One of my second graders wrote a note to a boy in the class saying that she can't wait to have sex with him, and then another girl wrote a note to her calling her a b*tch who s u c k s D***, with an illustration. I can't belive all the stuff these kids know it's insane!!! I had to have a nice convo with the parents and the students, so not fun!
