My SURPRISE shower...it worked!!!!!! (few pics)

I finally got a second to post about my shower!!!!!! It was this past Sunday at Paddy McGees ins Island Park. FH was away for the weekend so there is no way I thought it would be then. My sister also lead me to believe it was in July (she even told me it wa at my Aunts house). ANYWAY..I showed up in a sweatsuit, pigtails and flip flops

!!!

Paddy McGees...My mom and sister outdid themselves (along with some help from BP). The food was AMAZING as well as the view. We had our own area in the back. The only downside was that the buffet was shared with the whole place. The upside to that was that the food was out and replenished the whole day so some people ate breakfast food then later ate lunch

There were about 55pp there and I got such great things...washer and dryer from mom, dad, sis, camcorder, big A/C for LR, comforter, sheets...I could go on and on. I have NO ROOM in my apt for 3/4 of the stuff but I'm not complaining!!! The favors were flower pots with sunflower (my favorite flower) stationary, sunflower seed packets with a personal note about me

, chocolate bars with Beth's shower on them and a sunflower cookie. They were really cute. My sister also made up recipes cards and cards for TIPS FOR MARITAL BLISS AND WELL WISHES and made a little book from this. I LOVED it!! Some people wrote some really fun things...like my aunt wrote as her tip.....a boyfriend would help

I only have a few pics so far.

Overall a great day and now the countdown is on...........

Thank you!!! Yep, got a FEW HM gifts

Including a set with handcuffs, lotions and other fun toys

They actually brought me nice clothes to change into but I figured what the he!! they already saw me like this...and I was very comfortable opening all the presents..it was worth it to be surprised
