My Sweetheart Table Idea...Cool, or Tacky? With pics...

So, I hate flowers, or more the idea of spending money on them lol, as you all know, so we are not having florals for our reception CPs or decor. Our tables are going to have the hurricanes and rose petals and holly sprigs strewn at the bases.

So our table isn't going to have the hurricanes, just petals, and I was thinking this is going to look really barren, but I don't want to get a CP done for us. Soooooo....what do you think of the idea of having the petals, but in the front center of the table having a bride and groom mask propped up?

Possibly this one, but I'm afraid it might be too fruity for him:



What do you think? Good idea, tacky, or it will still look barren and that I'm cheap? LOL.

I think it looks great because it goes with your theme perfectly. I like the all black mask for your FH.

those are beautiful! I think it will look nice! Not sure if you are having bo-k's for you and your bridal party but most weddings I have been to use the Bo-k's on the sweetheart table as a CP kinda thing, probably what I am going to do to save some $$. If you are having them you can always nestle the masks in with the flowers too. Either way I dont think you will go wrong!

Oh duh, the bouquets, I forgot about them! I think my florist said they put them on the cake table though...in either event, that will certainly help, and I'll put the masks right in front.

FH just threw me for a major loop though, I sent him the images (NOT the links which included the pricing, I learned my lesson this time!), and he is actually leaning towards the black and gold, which is shocking because he is not a glitter kind of guy LOL. Who am I marrying????

The idea is great. I think if you are going to use the first pretty one for you, you should use the last one for your FH, it matches yours better :o)
