My theory on why some people aren't receiving a ton of responses to their questions...

So, it just kinda hit me. I was thinking about it this evening, and I really think it has to do with the title of the thread....

I completelyyyyyyy glance over topics that don't say the purpose/ask the entire question in the title of the thread.

If someone titles their thread with something like 'need help with' or 'do you know...' or 'yay' or 'my day today' I am less likely to click on the thread. Doesn't mean I don't care about what people have to say...but when I'm jumping online for 20 minutes and want to check out what's on page one, I only click on things that get right to the point....

So as a helpful hint for newbies....if you're discouraged by the responses you're receiving to your questions, it might be helpful to title your thread with something like 'Does anyone have the number to RK bridal?' or 'I need opinions on this favor *pics*' or something to that effect. I think you'll have better response!!

Very true....and also, putting 'with pics' in the subject line basically guarantees that i'm gonna actually look at it...but you should actually post a picture ofcourse

Soooooo true! Sad but I'm the one who likes to look at pics...But I do read others!! I don't ignore you guys! lol

So very true Bon - I've seen this posted on BHB before - but only in a much bitchier tone!

THANK YOU for posting this!!! I totally wanted to say something similar when I first started posting, but didn't want to make people feel bad. It's such great advice and I think it'll help us all out a lot.
