My theory on why some people aren't receiving a ton of responses to their questions...

So, it just kinda hit me. I was thinking about it this evening, and I really think it has to do with the title of the thread....
I completelyyyyyyy glance over topics that don't say the purpose/ask the entire question in the title of the thread.
If someone titles their thread with something like 'need help with' or 'do you know...' or 'yay' or 'my day today' I am less likely to click on the thread. Doesn't mean I don't care about what people have to say...but when I'm jumping online for 20 minutes and want to check out what's on page one, I only click on things that get right to the point....
So as a helpful hint for newbies....if you're discouraged by the responses you're receiving to your questions, it might be helpful to title your thread with something like 'Does anyone have the number to RK bridal?' or 'I need opinions on this favor *pics*' or something to that effect. I think you'll have better response!!

I usually spend a good ammount of time on here so i pretty much click on everyone topic to see what its about i like seeing what everyone is posting for the day......plus i am nosey!!

last week i posted a ques. about ******** photography and i included it in the title, however when i submitted, the name of the vendor was automatically replaced with stars. can anyone tell me why?

I totally agree, i always put long detailed topics and i always get responses, a while ago maybe 6-8 months ago, someone posted that on the BHB boards, cause girls were upset they werent getting responses, but the girl pointed out dont put vague and short subjects!

I don't know to be honest with you - they were kicked off before I joined the site... try posting on the BHB board... someone on there would probably be able to tell you!
