So... I am planning on inviting families w/their children (cousins).
On the envelope should I say so and so family or for now, just in case something changes just make it out to Mr. & Mrs. so and so.

I think its Mr. & Mrs SoSo & Family.... I think... thats what we did for our evites..

you could just do the Mr and Mrs for the STD in case you later decide you dont want kids. You can always add & Family later on the invites but if u put them now they will have to be invited.

The kids that will be DEFINITELY be at our wedding are immediate family; niece/nephew of mine and FH, 1st cousins, etc. On those envelopes, I will be writing 'The Smith Family'....on families that aren't immediate family and ones that we don't plan on inviting their kids, it will be 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith'.......this way, incase we do invite their kids later on, we can do that on the actual wedding invite. If you put 'FAMILY' on the STD and change your mind down the road, it might look bad? JMO!

If you're definitely inviting the kids, I'd do 'The Smith Family.'
