My turn for CP advice...

Catie got me thinking...

my RH provides red roses with votive candles as CPs. I am a-okay with this as I don't want to spend more money...BUT I am thinking of ways to get crafty with it...

as of right now we're having black tablecloths, red napkins, red roses, and petals on the table....

any ideas for what I could add or do differently? Our whole 'theme' is classy and elegant black and red.....

maybe putting something in the vase, red crystals or black and red.

well I will try to think of some stuff but as you can tell I am lacking in the creative dept haha

Get a bunch of crystals or rhinestones and atttache them to the flowers to make them sparkle.

you can have crystal beads hanging from the cp

and maybe black magic roses as the petals

Damn right! I think I may ask the RH to split the roses between two vases (filled with red and black marbles or crystals) and have the frame in the center with the rose petals (red and black magic) all along the table...what do ya think?

Damn right! I think I may ask the RH to split the roses between two vases (filled with red and black marbles or crystals) and have the frame in the center with the rose petals (red and black magic) all along the table...what do ya think?

SOUNDS GREAT...and for candles you can buy the red glass votives

Glue Clear Rhinestones to the votives so that when the lights from other candles flicker, it'll sparkle.
Add a round mirror under the flowers and lights for more sparkle.
Buy hanging crystal beads, add wire to top and hang crystal beads off some of the greenery in flowers for a chandalierish look.

those are my colors too! Even though it's not technically part of the CP....you can do your place cards, favor packaging... in red and/or black to tie the colors together....
