My turn to vent! With HAPPY Update!!!

I'm so upset and frustrated! My MOH is in alaska so my two local bridesmaids have been planning my shower. My one girl introduced FH and I and has been my close friend from when I first moved to LI. The other is a more recent friend. So my long time friend offered to have the shower at her house since my mom, MOH and two other BM's live out of state. Wanted to keep it inexpensive. Last night I get a call from my MOH asking if I really want my shower in a restaurant and if $200 a bridesmaid was typical for a shower. What?!?! I'm so mad right now! I wanted it in a house for a reason! My mom, MOH, and bridesmaids cannot afford to pay for a shower! What is wrong with people!? Now FH is on a mission to save the day. I have to call everyone and apologize about the email asking for money. So annoying! Oh and did I mention one of the BM's is 16 and still in hs! I specifically said don't ask her for money!

Update:

YEAH!! It is all figured out! Yesterday happened to be the one year anniversary of my friends mom's passing. Well she spoke to us from above! We are having the shower at her house! This all happened for a reason and now I will have my long island mommy with me at my shower! I'm so happy to have her memory help us figure out a plan! All it took was a third BM to help come to this decision! THANK YOU SANDY!!! I LOVE AND MISS YOU!!!

I know, this is exactly why I haven't called my friend to complain yet! FH talked to my more recent friend and she is upset too. She didn't know anything about the restaurant or 200 until she got the email. She said she even offered to throw the shower in her house. I'm just upset that she didn't come to me or at least FH to tell us she didn't want to have it in her house anymore.

Yes. The shower was planned for my BM's house then she decided she didn't want it there anymore. Instead of taking another BM's offer to have at her house she took it upon herself to ask all the girlsfor 200 a piece to have it in a restaurant. But what really upsets me is she even asked my alaskan BM who is 16 and is already shelling out over 2000 just to get here and be in the wedding!
