MY Unbelievable VALENTINES NIGHT With PICS of MY NEW BLING!!!!!!
What a night I had last night, between the weather and everything closing or being cancelled, we kept our plans and went ahead with our night in the city!
I got my hair done at the salon, and I was one of the only clients who didn’t cancel, they sent almost every stylist home early. I was the last appt yesterday. He sent me flowers to the office and chocolates and i was soo happy with that!!! and it just gets better!!!
The limo arrives at 6:30pm and we hop in, and I brave the ice in my 5 inch open toed heels, lol We stop at lees parents house to pick up the gifts, his mom wrapped them for him. There were a ton of presents, We go to Aureole and get there early, they seat us and we are treated like we are royalty. We go there every year and this was our 4th time there. We don’t go often because the bill can run about $350 with a couple drinks lol. So it’s a special night for us. And a great tradition. So he gives me one gift to open in the restaurant and I thought for sure that it was going to be my ring, for those who don’t know we set a date and booked vendors without officially having the ring, Lee has a client who is a jeweler and was getting a majority of the cost on Barter.
I open the gift and its not the ring, I am extremely disappointed as I thought I had it figured out. Lol He tells me that he is not picking up the ring until Friday and he is so sorry he couldn’t give it to me tonight, and that he bought me some small gifts to make up for it.
On the way home I pass out in the limo and when I wake up we are at the site of our first meeting, a gas station in New hyde park where I am from. He hands me a set of gifts to open and it’s a camera case, a 1 gig memory card and a brand new canon camera. We have a camera but its pretty big its really nice but its not good to carry around. SO im sooo happy, he said he was not buying me a new camera since we have one already.
So then we go to the next location wich is Freeport boating area, the night we met he took me to the boat to hang out. We get there and he gives me another set of presents, wich is all photo paper 4x6 5x7 8x11 sizes and a brand new canon photo printer, he is like its amazing quality and top of the line. So I am just floored that he spent this much money on me.
The last location is the office, where we both work and where he took me the first night we met as well. It’s a small present and I open it and its in an envelope, He is videoing me the whole time with our camera in the limo, I close my eyes and open the envelope and its 2 tickets to see Christina Aguilera in concert april 7th, and they are very very good and close seats to the stage!!!!! I am going nuts I cant believe he got me so many gifts,
Then he takes out One last present wich is my ring, and gets down on one knee in the limo and asks me to marry him. Of course I say yes since our hall is booked vendors are booked lol. It was worth the wait, and I am happy he didn’t spend a lot, and that he got it on barter, It did suck waiting extra to get it, but im glad he saved his money and we can use it toward the construction of the house.
I am on Cloud Nine, even though I was already engaged having the ring is just so exciting and its sooo gorgeous, its Pear with 2 slender baguettes, one on each side.
I picked out the shape and setting, and designed it myself. So I knew what it would look like, but I am just soo happy with my ring and all the gifts he gave me!!!
I am truly lucky, and cant stop smiling today!!!!!
