my uncle is coming from ireland to walk me down the aisle!

I wasnt sure who was going to walk me down the aisle (my dad is not alive) and although i wanted my mom to, I had no one really in particular.

Last time I was in IReland I had just gotten engaged and he said he wanted to walk me down the aisle, I said sure, but didnt think he would make it here for the wedding.

So low and behold (my mom is in Ireland on vacay) and my uncle told her he is coming over!!

Im very happy, and sad at the same time because my dad wont be there. I really feel blessed though. This has been pretty tough to face and I am so happy my uncle will be there for me!

That's so great that he's coming to walk you down the aisle. And even better that you didn't really expect it. i'm sure it will make your day so special and know that you're dad will be watching you on that day as i'm sure he does everyday.

That is great to here !!!!!!!!!! My 8 yr old son and my sisters father in law will be walking me down the aisle !!!!!!!! My grandparents raised me and my siblings ....and he is no longer here ... but I know they will be in spirit ... It is going to be a very emotional day for me ... but I hope with friends and family around ... I hope to be ok !!!!!!!!!!!
