My unity candle!!

Finally finished my unity candle. Double sided tape is definetly a blessing and a curse, lol. The candle says 'From this day forward, you shall not walk alone. For my heart will be your shelter, and my arms will be your home.'

How did you make this, I keep contemplating whether or not to make mine.....How did you decide how the wording should go and where did you get the ribbon?

I wrote it up in MS Word and printed as you would normally, except you need to set your printer settings to 'transparent paper'. I bought everything at MIchaels Crafts. I used self-adhesive vellum paper, which I thought would be easier, but it was a pain in the a s s. So I used double-sided tape on all four sides of the paper, then I used the ribbon as a border and just secured it with a hot glue gun. Then I added the two swavorski crystals to the top and botton with a drop of hot glue. The wording I had saved for so long, so I really don't remember where they came from, lol. As far as the placement of the wording, I just kind of did a trial and error with regular paper first and had it set as center alignment.

Well it came out beautiful
