They always thump around in the morning and walk around with heels in the bedroom (which is directly above mine) at like 6:30am everyday.
I just want to sleep in peace one day!

my upstairs neighbor is a total c-bag thats days away from dying. her caretaker lives there 24/7 and has her daughter live there,too..along with her daughters kids. so theres liek 5 ppl in a 2 bedroom place. they vacuuum at 6 am. and some nights the old hagg is up all night hitting her cane on the floor for HOURS. ive cursed them out..and they stopped.
maybe you should do the same
or take a broom and hit it on your ceiling.. they willl eventually get the hint.

I feel your pain...except my downstairs neighboors are the a-holes. I live on the top floor and we do not walk around with shoes on and we have area rugs on all our hardwood floors..we try to be VERY considerate of the fact that we have downstairs neighbors. These idiots blast their surround sound constantly and her husband must lift weights down there cause you constantly hear something dropping all the time. THEY ARE IDIOTS!!!

Ugh that's the worst! I'd recommend acting like an old lady and taking a broom to the ceiling but I did that once and I dented the ceiling!

Ugh....I am having the same exact issue!!!!!! FH actually just got off the phone with the landlord to complain about them for the 4th time!!!!! They are total inconsiderate d-bags!!!!! They were thumping around at 4am this morning and woke us up!

Believe me the guy who lives below FH and I takes the cake. We live in a 2 story co-op and this jerk is always trying to boss us around. He even left us a note one time telling us to stop flushing the toilet while he is in the shower... excuse me?!?!?!? get your plumbing fixed it's totally not our problem you are getting scalded and sorry that we dont pay attention tot when you are showering! He acts like we are his tenants when we aren't it's totally ridiculous.

at least its not only FH & I who have loud upstairs neighbors. i know the pain.
our upstairs neighbors are my family. our bedroom is downstairs from my parents dining room. they seriously spend their entire life in that room. its horrible. we hear people starting at 5AM. i have not had a good night sleep in years. i can not wait to move & i already told FH that if we move to another apartment we will pay extra to live on the top floor.
