My valentines day surprise...the best FH!
So...yesterday afternoon the 8 millionth person got flowers delivered to the office and they were not for me. I was instant messaging my sister and said, I think I am the only girl at work that didnt get flowers. Being the person that she is and I love...she called FH to tell him that he needs to step up his game. I felt bad that she called him since we agreed not to do anything on V-day. SO I called him and told him to make reservations at our favorite restaurant and that I was taking him out to dinner. He called me back and told me we got reservations at 6:30 so I needed to hurry home.
Well....when I get home.....the entire apartment was dark besides candles lit all over the place. There were rose petals leading from the door to the dining room table. He had jazz music on in th background. He had wine poured for me, put water in fancy glasses and told me to sit down. He made me a beautiful dinner of seared lamb chops and risotto. He bought a heart cookie cutter and put the risotto in the shape of a heart. Then for dessert he made homemade PINK sugar cookies with pink icing and we watched a movie.....then well, you know what happens after that.
Apparantly he had this all planned out all along and left work at 1pm so he could go shopping and set the scene...I will NEVER complain about not getting flowers again!
