my vegas review with pics
Ok so here is my detailed review sorry it’s so long but I know some girls are going soon so I thought I would be very specific and if I miss anything please feel free to PM me.
So here is all we did and where we ate. I am going to go day by day b/c it’s easier for me to remember that way.. Some advice- BE PREPARED TO WALK A LOT. Even if you take the monorail to walk to the monorail is a hike. I swear I think I lost a few lbs and I have been eating like crazy. Man I love Vegas if not for anything else but that!
We arrived to Vegas on time Saturday at 12:00 noon (Vegas time) we were so tired already b/c we had only a few hours sleep the night before. We got to out hotel ( treasure Island-very nice) and after we got settled we decided if we didn’t leave then to go out we would never get up so we headed out around 3 Vegas time and we had dinner at 7:30 and then Kevin James at 10:30 so by the tie we were done it was near 4 am ( NY TIME) and we had been up for 22 hours so much for the night life in Vegas for us LOL .
We ate at Circo in the Bellagio and the hotel itself is sooo nice the water show is a must see for sure. Dinner was good a little pricy and small portions but good. Would I say well worth it-NO it was good like I said but not worth the bill. Kevin James was at the Mirage and he was soooooo funny. I know he is going to be in Li at Westbury in June see him if you can.
Sunday_ we went to ESPN zone in NY NY b/c my DH wanted to watch the net game. After that we did some more walking around the strip. We saw Mandalay bay and Luxor. Both were really nice. At Mandalay bay we went the dolphin exhibit really nice and so many beautiful fish. Sunday night we ate at Emrils in MGM his Creole place. This place was Excellent and well worth the bill.
Monday- We went to Siegfried and Roy’s secret garden in the Mirage. That was great and we also went to Madam Tuseau’s(sp). Both a lot of fun. We then walked over to Caesars that place is HUGE! We ate at Wolfgang Pucks Spago in Caesars and it was DELICIOUS and very reasonable.
Tuesday- We went back to NY NY and had brunch at Nine Fine Irishman and that was good for brunch. We then went to Paris, Alladin, Bailys and a few others just checking out all the hotels and casinos.
Tuesday night we saw Danny Gans at Mirage. He was 100 a ticket but well worth it so talented he does so many voices its great he even sang a creed song and sounded just like him I swear.
Wednesday – This was my DH bday and we sat by the pool all day and at night we went to Mesa Grill in Caesars (Bobby Flays place) and it was great. We then walked back down the strip and had an early night b/c we were beat from the sun.
Thursday- We checked out Steve Wynn’s new hotel SO GEORGEOUS!! And we lost some more money. And then sad to say it was time to come home already.
Overall it was a great trip. It was a trip for my graduation, my DH bday and an early anniversary trip for us. We lost but it was still great. The weather was great. Only bad thing was there was a shooting at the Palms but it was nowhere near us thank god.
