My vent

My vent

I have to say that I'm 100% jealous of my brothers. My brothers are the most spoiled rotten SOBs in the world!!! I wish when I'm 28-29 my parents will pay for everything. I wish my mom would pay my car insurance and do my laundry. They always are showering my brothers gifts. She even gets Halloween cards!! Halloween cards and puts cash in them. And do you think they would even think to give their daughter a card? Nope I'm not even worth a piece of friggin paper. So now I get to spend the day cleaning the house and such. Go in to work a 12 hr. overnight shift tonight and christmas eve and try to stay awake christmas day. All this while my mom is currently doing my brothers laundry and giving my oldest brother our cat. All this $#@! has been going on for a loooooooooong time! I just can't take it anymore. I mean not for nothing for like 10 months my parents kept promising they'd give me FH an engagement gift. And then I'd see them giving something to my brothers or hear them on the phone saying'how much do you need?' They were so busy they forgot to plan an engagement party (their idea) because they had to drive my brother home to Pittsbugh!!! Hello! He's 29 and your giving him a ride home to Pittsbugh!?!?!?!?!?! Well Cinderella has to go scrub the throne for her spoiled rotten brothers!

Wow.. pretty rough situation. I would say something about them doing their own laundry and paying for stuff at their age. I am 27 and i have done my own laundry since i was 12, cooked, clean etc. I admit i live at home still but i take care of my own stuff like car insurance, food etc.

I hate parents that treat siblings so differently.

Sometimes I think I'm over reacting but I think my feelings a justified. The only time they do anything nice is because they feel bad for doing like 100x that for my brothers. That's why I love FH. He isn't nice because he has to be. He's nice because he is and wants to treat me well.

Why are mothers like that with their sons, seriously...Honestly, maybe you can talk to them about it. You don't have to get into a fight or anything like that but kind of nicely let them know how it feels and how it makes you feel that they do so much for your brothers and you don't feel you get the same attention. Sorry you feel this way
