My Venue Is Closinggggggggggg!!!!!!!!

I received the awful news today from my banquet manager that my venue's lease is up in March and they are not renewing!!!!!!!!!!

They can offer me a spot at their other location, Atlantic Beach, for a 4pm-10:30pm Sunday Wedding. I don't want my guests running out of there cause they have work the next day. I WAS doing an 11:30-5 affair at the location that is closing.

Have to find a new venue. FML!!!!!!!

the 'good' news is that you still have over a year, so you will definitely be able to find another venue. post where you're looking (queens, nassau, suffolk), price point, and other features you wanted...i'm sure the LIW girls will have some suggestions for you

so sorry!! good thing is at least you have time to find a new hall, no invites have been printed yet, and honestly after some of the things i hear about that rh service-wise i think youre probably better off... im sure youll find a hall that youll love even more!! let us know if you need any help!!

That is very stressful but just remember some things may happen for a reason! You have plenty of time and there are lots of great RH's out there! Wish you luck!

I do kind of think maybe this did happen for some very odd reason.

They're giving me my money back.

Sorry to hear that!!! Really Atlantic Beach isn't that far from Lido Beach. It's a matter of if you like the way the Atlantic Beach location looks. Good luck though. Are the going to give you a full refund if you decide to book elsewhere?

Imo, and I've worked at both NUMEROUS times, there's no comparison between Sands Atlantic and Sands Lido. Imo Sands Lido is 10000x's nicer and Sands Atlantic is a big B to get to.

I agree, you have plenty of time to find a different venue.
