Imo, and I've worked at both NUMEROUS times, there's no comparison between Sands Atlantic and Sands Lido. Imo Sands Lido is 10000x's nicer and Sands Atlantic is a big B to get to.

I agree, you have plenty of time to find a different venue.

Unfortunately I did not know that. I've never been to the Sands Atlantic Beach. But I'm not interested in the later wedding time anyway.

They are willing to give me my money back.

Long story short...

Woodbury Country Club was my first choice to begin with, but originally my father was very adamant about having a kosher wedding. We couldn't afford to do kosher @ Woodbury, that's why I ended up booking at The Sands. Once the Sands bailed on me, I called my Dad and told him what had happened and explained to him that he is going to have budge on the 'kosherness', it's not like there are an overwhelming number of kosher halls out there and we are not so religious to begin with. My Dad agreed and I immediately called up Woodbury Country Club who still had my date available, six months later!!! Fate? It's a possibility. Things happen for a reason? Also a possibility.

OMG Ian called me the same day and told me the same thing. That was the perfect location for me. I'm so not looking forward to looking for another location. I have a headached even thingking about it. Good luck. We do have time to find another.

OMG! I didn't know there was anyone else on here who was booked @ Lido!! Omg, we've been booked there for 6 months already! It's like how do I just immediately change my whole mind frame that I'm not getting married there?!
The Sands was good for me for a lot of reasons as well. I think this has to be one of the worst things that ever happens to a bride!!! Good luck in finding your new hall!!!!

Congratulations!!!!!!!! Woodbury Country Club is beautiful! Im so glad everything worked out
