Good Morning to all of you....hopefully this will be a good week!!

I would like to thank Jessica for giving me the honor of being the BOTW and hopefully my QOTD's this week meet up to the standards of all past BOTW's!!!

I think I would like to concentrate on our relationships past & present...

So here it goes...

Your last relationship before FH, how long was it? how did that end? What is different in this relationship? And are you still friends with your ex?

My last relationship prior to FH was about 3 yrs long, during college, and it didnt end well. He had/s some emotional/mental issues. I basically couldnt handle his controlling ways and I realized that I could no longer be with a person like that. He thought we would get married but I knew it wouldnt work out. We are no longer friends and he hates me. He beleives that I ruined his life because he feels that when we were dating it consumed him and he couldnt study so he had to drop out school and go to a community college to start all over again.

My relationship with FH is totally different. FH is confident, strong, doesnt have any emotional issues and is basically the complete opposite of my ex, he is perfect for me

My ex and I dated for just under a year, but we weren't really broken up for the following 2.5 years ... we were best friends but we never drew a line between best friends and relationship ... so the last time I was 'with' him I got fed up and knew I wanted and deserved more for myself. Wouldn't you know, within the following week I had met FH and knew I was in it for the long haul.

My ex and I tried to maintain a friendship but it was just too difficult. I think if we had stopped being 'involved' after we broke up we probably could have. We talk once or twice a month via e-mail now, but that's it. I miss him, but that's the way it goes. FH was very understanding about the whole situation, which I always appreciated, so it wasn't him that ended my friendship with the ex ... it was all me. Le sigh.
