Peter (platinum video) did such a wonderful editing job. Its the best wedding video I've ever seen. Its classy and elegant and wonderful to watch. The music he choose totally captures the essence of the day. And the 8mm footage, incredible!

I thought the raw footage was fun to watch - this is amazing! Can't wait to get the dvd's so I can jump around.

I was at another wedding this weekend where Peter did the video (friends of ours we recommended Peter to) - he was so unobtrusive, you forget he's there! Can't wait to see that one!

Just wanted to share for those looking for videos. I know his prices have gone up significantly since we booked him, but we got the deal of the century.

Lisa, you just made my night. My FH and I booked Peter in March, for our April 2003 wedding. We found him to be a true talent. I am so happy you were pleased.

I'm glad to hear that! He did our video at our wedding too! I can't wait to see it. We're getting the Short Form Edit though... how long is your video? We're going to be getting the unedited version too. Thanks for sharing!

Our edited video is two hours - longer than I expected, but Peter said there was too much good coverage to cut. Also with the DVD option, length isn't much of an issue anymore cause you can jump to specific sections.

I don't know what he charges now. At the time we booked, he was $1895, I think he's up over $2K now, but you should check him out.

i emailed peter at platinum and the first price he gave me was $2395 (whew!) for 3 VHS & 4 DVDs. i asked him about lower packages and he then said $1900 for full coverage, 3 VHS no DVDs. the videos on their website are absolutely stunning! however, a bit out of my price range. i'm meeting with wild rose (based on the recommendations from you girls!) next monday and they quoted me $1599 for the basic ceremony, reception coverage and 3 VHS, which was a bit more reasonable. i think they call it the 'white rose' package. marie has gotten back to me very promptly via email & answered all of my questions. i'm looking forward to the meeting!
