My weather predictions were right! It poured yesterday!!!!

My weather predictions were right! It poured yesterday!!!!

Yesterday was my shower at my FSIL's house in Lloyd Harbor. She and my MOH, my mom, and everyone else did such an incredible job..... the food was catered from La Bonne Quiche and it was AMAZING! The pomegranate mimosas and white wine sangria were flowing I was soooooo moved... there were so many thoughtful touches (take a look at our Scrabble cake! ) Everyone had a great time. I was overcome by everyone's generosity..... we got all of our bedding, our Kitchen-Aid Mixer, crystal, all of our flatware, our Dyson vacuum, and so much more. FH and I are literally tripping over gifts in our apartment.

I was exhausted after all that champagne and gift opening so I didn't do a QOTD yesterday but my last one will be in a little while!

Me and my mama....
