Thank you... but it would take waaay too long... It's safe to say, everything. Nothing at all is the way I wanted it to be.

Oh no....hang in there you are almost there and even if nothing goes right (which it will be perfect) you always have each other at the end of the day

Thanks girls...
it really is not about things going wrong or right... it's more about this not even being close to what I had envisioned my day to be... I have had to give up so much: limos, DJ, decorations, etc. because of our budget. I have had to settle every step of the way for things I did not ever totally want. I am at the point where I don't even want this to happen.

Everything happens for a reason and I'm sure when the wedding actually happens you will love everything you picked. I think it's normal to second guess. Keep smiling!! You're marrying the man you love!!!

As always, if I can do or bring anything, just let me know. You've got a great set of bridesmaids, gorgeous accessories, and just 3 tiny little weeks before you can stop digging your nails into your palms. It'll be what it'll be, and everyone will have a fabulous time.

Re: My wedding...
I am so sorry to hear about this. I am sure everyone has this idea of what there wedding should be. But in the long run in 20 years from now you are going to remember the love of your life not the little things that go into a wedding. Take a deep breathe and remember you are marrying theman you love.
Weddings these days come with a lot of expectation but the most important thing is if you are happy with the person you are marrying.
good luck

Re: My wedding...
We went to a wedding last year that was a major budget affair and let me tell you, it was so much fun. It was nice that it was something totally different. All that stuff you said you had to sacrifice, is just that...'stuff'. That's all material things. None of that is necessary and definitley do not think for one second that your wedding will not be as special as anyone else's. And actually, keep in mind, more people are likely to remember your wedding and talk about it b/c of where it is and all of your unique details. It'll be great!

Re: My wedding...
Please don't feel like that, it will make you miserable.. Try to find the positive things and look at what you like. your wedding is less than a month away so just try to enjoy everything you can, then you will realize everything is great, we can't always get everything we want but if we accept it, it will be easier to enjoy everything else.....You are probably nervous since the wedding is so close
Cheer up!

Thank you, Mich... as always, you know you are the best!
And you also know I would never impose on you - you have enough to do, planning your own affair!

Re: My wedding...
so sorry that you feel like you are settling on things or not getting what you want! i know the feeling....i felt that way sometimes cause we were paying on our own.......but i really hope that by the time the big day comes, you will be happy and enjoy every minute of it! maybe this is just one of those bad days where its allllll getting to you and you will eventually feel better.

Re: My wedding...
Even if all the material things aren't what you want, just remember that at the end of the day you'll be married to the love of your life.
I'd probably kick someone for telling me that if I was getting upset about things, but I think it has truth to it. It's just hard to see it when you invest so much into your wedding day being perfect.

I'm so sorry!!!! I've had similar times throughout the planning, i've got champagne tastes and a beer budget!!! Our RH is way $$$$ but I compromised on other things and its all working out well I think? I really believe there's something to be said for having LITTLE OR NO DEBT after your wedding!!! How many brides-to-be or even newlyweds would trade places with you today because they weren't disciplined at ALL and now have a year or more of crushing DEBT ahead of them??? Hang in there, it will be a beautiful day and you and FH will have a great start to a happy life together

How could you say that . . . don't worry about all the extra stuff. Its all about you and FH being made for each other
