my wedding colors are black and ivory and i want to add one color, what should it be??

do you think i should do--

a. black, white & hot pink ( a deep one/ fuschia)

b. black, white& red

c. other suggestions

I did black, ivory and champagne and it turned out absolutely beautiful. But if you are looking for more of a color I think the red would be a beautiful and classy touch to the black and ivory!

oh you could do so many bright colors with black & ivory because they are neutrals....here's some color combos to look at! HTH!

For April, I would do fuchsia and other deeper pinks, may be a blush pink rose to lighten up a little.

I like the deep pinks, yellow, or aqua. I think with a late winter/early spring wedding I would do more spring type colors, but in a darker hue. JMHO....They look AMAZING against blk and wht

I am doing black and ivory with slight touches of red. I really wanted to focus on the black and ivory...but there are hints of red scattered throughout (my bouquet, pew bows, centerpieces, etcccc)

with ivory - ivory is warm where white is cool as a color. If you are doing ivory i really suggest a gold color, teal, pink. I would get a swatch of your dress if its ivory or paper that you would be using and go to your shop and take a look at swatches and hold it all against each other and see how the colors reflect off of each other.

I am not sure if red /hot pink would work because its so vibrant it make be absorbed with the ivory (not reflected as a contrast such as bright white) and might make the ivory look funky.

Depends on what your using it for though - i am talking fabric here and paper and with a deeper shade ivory then maybe you woudl use. Off white is fine with anything but ivory can be tricky to pair.
