I've decided I will make a contribution of $5 per guest to
the National Multiple Sclerosis society
both myself and my father in-law have been diagnosed
I dont wanna just give a truffle, or a silver heart shaped
spoon ( NOT that there is anything wrong with that)
but I want to support the cause for awareness and a cure
It's near and dear to my life and heart.
so CHECK - favors done :)

they will give you these neat tent cards so people will know what you did, I may attach a blurb about my own journey with the disease.
I'm WALKING DOWN THE AISLE- there was a time I wasn't sure if that was gonna be possible, both literally and figuratively!

thats great! I never realized how many people actually have MS. Think about hoe many in this group alone have been touched by this disease.

yeah it even shocks me.
200 people a week find out they have it worldwide
2 million people worldwide have it
famous people like - Annette Funicello - Teri Garr - Richard Pryor ( RIP) Clay Walker, of course Montel Williams
then tons of people who are related too, or know someone with it
I'm lucky, I'm doing well on my medicine...but it sU cKs... one a week I gt real sick from the shots... somedays... it just .... S u Cks

I had no idea you have MS, I know it's not something people broadcast, but I have it too. I am making a donation to them for my wedding as well. They have been so helpful to me in times of need. They are amazing, when I had my termination meeting at my job the director of the long island chapter came as my advocate. I am eternally grateful to them for their support. I know how you feel about the walking down the aisle thing, every time I am doing bad I fear the worst also.

That's a great favor! I love donations, I think it's such a wonderful idea because most favors get thrown out, or wind up in a garage sale lol so I think you are doing a great thing!

Thats a very good idea. I know someone who is getting remarried and she's a breast cancer survivor and she's doing the same thing. She's donating to the breast cancer society as her favors. I think thats an awesome idea!!

WOW- i wish i had known when I was facing job issues when I 1st got sick. they thought i was being 'lazy' and partying which was why i was sleepy all day and my job performance was suffering. Explaining to them that I was going to bed at 9pm every night didnt help. IT'S CALLED CHRONIC FATIGUE!!!
