My Wedding Gown Dilemma - LONG
Ok ladies, I feel like a jack*ss and I dont know what to do. I used to work with the owner of Angel Bridals years ago, and I used to model in her bridal shows, etc. I got engaged in March, but I hadn't spoken to her in a few years a that time. I felt weird going into her shop b/c I didnt want her to think I was looking for a discount. Anyhow, I ended up finding and ordering my gown at Bridal Suite of Bayshore.
So, when it came time to look for BP dresses, I thought I might like the girls to try on Alfred Angelo seperates. There are like 3 stores in suffolk county that have them in shop for girls to try on, and the only one less than 30 min from my house is Angel bridals, which is literally about 5 blocks from me. So, I decided to suck it up, and 2 wks ago I went in on a saturday, told them I felt awkward b/c I had already found my dress, etc. They told me not to be silly, and I made an appt for my BP to go in, which was tonite. I felt super awkward telling her that I went to Bay Shore for it, so I told her that I had gone to a Maggie trunk show w/some LIW girls. I hate lying and I'm bad at it, but I felt like she wouldnt know this, so whats the difference?
So tonite while the girls were trying on gowns, I started perusing the head pieces. Rosemary suggested that since I got my gown at a trunk show, why not bring it there for alterations so that I can try it on w/various head pieces. She asked where I got it, and I have NO idea why, but I guess I remembered there being a Maggie trunk show at Helens and I told her thats where I got it! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? How do I get around this now!??! Please help! I'm such a bad liar, and this is exactly why I never do it! It always kicks me right in the ***! I was just trying not to make her feel bad... what now?!
