I always think sooner is better with thank you's- but if you are swamped which I am sure you are- I wouldn't worry about it!

I would send out the thank yous before your wedding - just make sure to use different stationary than your new name monogramed stationary.

I waited to send mine because I wanted to be able to send the TY with the picture on it. Especially for people who did not come to the wedding.

we're waiting to send them all at once. we got a few checks already but we won't cash them until after the wedding. at that point we'll just send out the thank yous with our regular ones.

I sent thank yous right away but then I also sent formal thank yous after!

At this point, I would just wait til after the wedding-- that is what I did.. I am mailing all my TY's tonight-- so, under 5 weeks after the wedding.. As long as you do it soon after the wedding you should be ok.

I know the last couple weeks was nuts- and to worry about sending out a TY was just out of the question.

I would write them out now, just to get them out of the way, but I wouldn't snd them until after the wedding. Maybe you can get the TY cards from your photographer now, and thn just drop the photo in when you get them.
