what happened? i would try going to bridal stores and seeing if there is something you can buy off the rack..

try davids bridal!! when i was first looking, i found that their dresses fit me pretty well w/o need for any major alterations!!!!!

First , I'm so sorry you have to deal with this days before your wedding.
I hope you have raised an enormous stink at the place where this happened.
Anyhow, I have to agree with the other girls about David's Bridal. I'm a Size 2 and I tried on at least half a dozen dresses there that looked nice and required no alterations. One dress needed a slight hem, but if you buy a petite gown that shouldn't be an issue
( assuming you aren't that tall)

Good luck there and please keep us posted. I do think you should be able to find something at DB though.
ETA: If my wedding dress was altered to fit my size I would lend it to you but I haven't done fittings yet.

Believe it or not, try Nordstrom. I just bought a backup dress there for $500!

I actually have a size 2 wedding dress that has red in the dress though. I don't know what color your BM dresses are though. I even have all the jewelry and the veil to match it.

Ummm how are you not freaking out?!?!?

Try calling places to see what they have off the rack, David's Bridal for sure and even Estelle's. I was in there looking for a Prom Queen tiara with my sister and they had a few nice dresses in the back...

Can you FM me the name of the Salon that effed up your alterations?

Go to Nordstroms in Roosevelt field.. They have beautiful dresses there, second floor, I am sure you can it right then & there.

I havent had my wedding yet...so I dont have a dress to lend you. But I just wanted to give you some support. I hope this works out.

ETA- I know you're not a NW yet and you're not supposed to post on their board...but maybe you can ask the newleyweds...one of them might have a dress for you borrow!
