My wedding - May 12

Now that I have somewhat recovered from the wedding and honeymoon I wanted to let you all know about how everything went. Starting at the top: The only complaint I had was the hair stylist. She was 45 minutes late and then proceeded to charge us way more than what she originally quoted. However, I have to admit our hair came out great. The flowers were gorgeous! Marie Camenares of Christopher Devins Celebrations did the flowers. I was a little bit nervous because I hadn''''t heard anything about her, but I had a gut feeling about her and it was right. I couldn''''t have been happier with the bouquets. Richie from Highlight Limos was also fabulous. He was polite, knowledgable, and really calmed me down. He even fixed my husband''''s boutineure after the ceremony. The pictures were done by Photography by Verdi. They did our engagement shoot which came out excellent. They were not intrusive at all and they did not pull us out of the cocktail hour once. I can''''t say enough good things about the Miller Place Inn. It was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the matre''''d was so helpful. All of the guests could not stop raving about it. Spin Around Sound. Tom was great and he even came to our house a few days before the wedding to pick up CDs for songs he couldn''''t find that we wanted. My dress and headpiece came from Adrienne''''s and I had an excellent experience. The alterations were beautifully done and they even fixed the dye job on my shoes which another store had totally messed up. I dealt mostly with MaryAnn and Nancy and they were both wonderful. The tuxes were from RSVP in Bay Shore and they were also great. The day was wonderful. It was all I could have hoped for. We had no major catastrophies, everything went very smoothly, and I had a blast! Enjoy it girls, it goes so fast. I''''ve gotten so much great advice from everyone on the board. I didn''''t post often, but I definatly absorbed a lot of good ideas. I''''m sad that it''''s all over. But I''''m sure there''''s lots more excitement in the future!
