Hello All..what an exciting few weeks it has been. let me start at the beginning:
Rehearsal Dinner: La Viola in Cedarhurst: Nice restaurant there was an upstairs private room that was nice. I will give it an 8 out of 10
Wedding Dress: Purchased from Bridal Garden in Bethpage: They ordered the dress for me at a lower cost than other stores, Collette was great to deal with there and the alteration prices were reasonable. The dress actually had a pull in it and the day before the wedding I brought it back and it was fixed no problem. They will get an 8 too.
Limo: Alexis Limousine located in the Chateau Briand: The limos were early, clean and the drivers were so nice and helpful. They rate a 9.
Photographer and Videographer: Cassarino studios. They were the best to deal with. I had a photojournalistic photographer and posed photographer who were both very professional and early. The video was from there as well, when the proofs are in I can give a better opinion but I think it will be beautiful. They rate a 10.
Tuxedos: Dante Tuxedos in Westbury: Excellent selection and all tuxes fit perfectly and looked great. I think 9 for them.
Ceremony Music: Stan Weist: I don’t remember that much (you know those wedding jitters) but everyone said they were great during the ceremony. There were 3 musicians at a reasonable price. I'll give them an 8.
Band: Arcadia from LI Paramount: They were incredible. The music selection that I mailed them was played beautifully and the additional songs that they choose were appropriate for the feel of the wedding. I had an afternoon wedding and the dance floor was filled for most of the night. They deserve a 10.
Flowers were from Pedestals. I went through Danny there and just told him that I want a roses theme. When the flowers arrived in the morning for the girls and myself we all gathered around and stared at how beautiful they were. My bouquet of all red roses was astonishing. The centerpieces were high/low mix again with the roses and they were beautiful. I have never seen so many people at a wedding fight over the centerpieces! They rate a 10.
Last but not least was the Fox Hollow: There is not enough I could say to describe how great the service was. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by my Maitre D and Bridal assistant, who both were around all night when I needed them for anything. They even calmed down a couple of crazy family members. A rehearsal was done 1/2 hour before wedding, pictures were taken during the cocktail hour but there was still enough time to dance, eat and talk to every guest. The food was amazing and the cake unbelievable. I felt like a princess all day long. Score for fox hollow: 15
Wedding night accommodations: Inn at Fox Hollow This place is amazing. I called 2 days before my wedding and planned a party for after my wedding in that amount of time. Chris there was great and explained all the choices there were to offer and the price was reasonable, and of course the hotel is gorgeous! Score 9
Honeymoon: 6 night stay in Puerto Rico and & 7 night cruise on Royal Caribbean. The honeymoon was amazing, our time in Puerto Rico was great and very relaxing but the cruise was the best time I have ever had in my life. The ship was so beautiful we almost didn’t want to get off and explore the islands. If you are having doubts about a cruise please don’t, its GREAT. Score 12.
I am so relieved to be home and can now move on to the other board. I hope the advice and opinions I have offered can help someone as much as you all have helped me. Happy Planning Stephanie

Question Answers
I almost forgot the hair and make up. I used Jackie from Imakeyouup.com, I found her on this website and booked her about 2 weeks before the wedding. She works out of a salon in Massapequa called The Sophisticated lady with Margaret who did my hair. I had a hair trial 2 days before my wedding and it was beautiful. Both of these woman were very professional and helpfull, they both stuck around until I was completely dressed and touched up my hair and make up. The rest of the day nothing except powder was needed. I owe them alot, especially on such short notice. Answers to questions: We went on the cruise to Aruba, Curaco, St. Martin and St. Thomas with the Royal Carribean Adventure of the Seas. This ship was the greatest, I miss it right now
The after party was in a room upstairs at the Inn and we paid about $6 a person for just pretzels and chips, it was a cash bar so you have to pay a room fee and an amount for the bartender. These amounts I dont recall (this was husbands job) but you can always contact them and ask for info, they faxed me the party information.
The menu at the reception is too long to list, but rest assured anything there will be wonderful.
