My wedding was almost a disaster. It's MYASMOM!

Hi ladies and gents.
I am back. All of a few hours.
I know its been a while but we left like 5 hours after our wedding to get on a plane for Jamaica.

Well all I have to say is that EVERYBODY had a blast!. The church was beautiful. The COral House was exceptionally pretty that day and we got tons of compliments on the food being wonderful. We ended up having the cocktails on the terrace because we had a good size party and the weather was cooperative. The music..now thats another story..lol. Our DJ was 2 hours late! but no one noticed because The Coral House was on the ball and served dinner first so that no one missed the music and even gave us an extra hour and then some (DH corrected me that it was over an hour) People were dancing out of the hall well after 12 midnight. And they took all the centerpieces and actually ate the wedding cake lol.

Havent gotten any pics yet due to our close timing so sorry..As soon as I can get them...they are yours...I feel confident because everyone kept telling me I looked beautiful..and guests at another wedding took my pic lol.

I will give all the details on the review board as soon as I can I promise.

Glad you had a blast. So sorry about the DJ though. What was his excuse?

Actually it was a 2 of them..the boss showed by the other guy with most of the equipment just turned his phone off and could not be reached. The other guy actually had to track down another team to come and fill in.

Mind you these guys do industry parties and are by no means amateurs. But the 'boss' has been the one responible for the success and jealousy may have been a factor acording to him. Whatever the case..I shall be tackling it this week...my dad thinks I could sue...but why bother.

Sorry about the DJ.

I would ask for money back to be honest - doesn't matter if the guests had fun after they showed up, the DJ's broke your contract.

If they give you lip, then maybe drop it. But I would write to the BBB and tell them about the DJ company. Jealousy or not, you had a contract and the boss or whoever shut off his phone should have not done that at all, no matter what.

But I'm glad you didn't let that ruin your day.

I am sorry about the DJ - I wouldnt waste my time sueing, but I sure would spread the word so no one else ever uses them.

I am sure your guests had a wonderful time no matter what!

OMG thats all I can say about Jamaica.

We were in Treasure Beach for 2 weeks to be closer to his grandma (she is almost 100 and was sick until we came so we stayed near her).

It was AWSOME. So affordable..its like 60 JA $$ for every US so you can have a really good time. We did horseback riding and snorkling....lets not forget parasailing..fishing ..FUN FUN FUN!. We ate so much fish and lobster I swear I am going to grow pincers. We partied almost every night and the funny thing was we did not have any hangovers lol.

Our 3 year old had a blast too. She was with family most of the time so we had a 'true honeymoon' and we are now waiting to see if there will be a souvenir of our trip 9 months later :)

We also surveyed the spot for our house there and will be returning in december to start clearing out the land. It was so sad to leave \
