My weekend
Just had to tell someone this....
Okay so the freakiest and scariest thing happened this weekend. I went to NJ for my cousin’s first birthday party. A party my cousin (her mom) has been planning for months. Usually they have their parties at this catering hall that does weddings and is gorgeous and expensive. But this time she decided to cut back alittle bit so she had it at a restaurant that had catered her brothers wedding.
Anyway, the place was very nice and she had like 30 children there. There was hundreds of balloons, a bubble machine, a bunch of blow up toys, a magician, etc. About 20 minutes before the party is to begin.
The Chandelier above the dance floor (a.k.a. children’s play area) comes crashing down. No one had touched it or anything, it just came down. The scary part, it came within inches of landing on top of my cousin’s 2-year-old Goddaughter.
I just thank God that it wasn’t a half-hour later because then the dance floor was filled with children playing! And honestly it was a very large chandelier and its scary to think of what would have happened to this child!!
I told my mom, I guarantee that someone is in there today checking all those chandeliers or replacing them with less dangerous lighting!
