I used them for my invites too and I have major complaints:

1. The pocketfold flap was cut crooked -- quality control anyone?

2. The RSVP cards had some kind of weird sand on them -- I had to individually wipe off each one.

3. The glue that holds the pocket part together (where you put the inserts) was either not strong enough or too much time elapsed between the time they smeared on the glue and when they decided to attach it. As a result, some of the inserts got stuck to the glue and were IMPOSSIBLE to remove. Of course I didn't notice it until I tried to remove them -- after we had already done all the inserts. Sometimes, small bits of black paper came away on the insert. Thank God I ordered extra everything.

4, It almost looks like they used a sharp instrument to score for the folds -- some of the folds looked jagged. Like it was half preforated

They weren't cheap -- My Gatsby blows.

I haven't complained yet but I should.

DH under ordered our e-party invites and it would have cost us tons more just to order 25, so I did a search and found the exact ones on mygatsby.com-we ordered through them without complaints and did the printing on our own.

Oh no....the invites I was looking at were pretty simple...no folds or anything fancy....did you try to call them t fix the problem or get your money back...they should have at least either sent you extras or given some money back!!!

I responded on your thread on BHB but also wanted to add the information here ...

Please don't think I am defending them -- I have had no experience so I don't know anything about them either way ...

BUT if the printing of your invitations was thermographed (raised), then the weird sand you are referring to is actually the powder used to create that raised printing effect.

It is not uncommon for their to be some leftover powder.
