Last week we got a pacakge from Fortunoff's from our registry, but there is no card. We've asked out parents but no one has said anything to them, and most of our family bought us engagement presents already, so we don't know who it could be.
It was purchased a while ago, b/c my mother said she noticed it, b/c she was going to buy it for us (saucers & serving bowl to complete our everyday dishes)
So now what do I do? Will Fortunoff tell me anything?

Re: Mystery Engagment gift!
My friend just recently had her shower and had some mystery gifts as well. She was registred at Bloomingdales and called them and they helped her figure it out. I am sure Fortunoffs will do the same.

Re: Mystery Engagment gift!
Is there a packing list? It might say who it was billed to on it ... (Crate and Barrel's does ...) Or call Fortunoff and ask them for the name of the puchaser.

cool--thanks! The packing slip is at FH's house. It doesn't say who it was billed to. It just says it was purchased at he Westbury store. I'll ask him to bring it tomorrow, so I can call.
I think if I call without it, I won't have all the nec. info.

Re: Mystery Engagment gift!
I had gotten a box from my fortunoff registry with no packaging slip enclosed so i called up fortunoff and they told me who bought it and it was never supposed to be shipped to me it was supposed to be part of my shower gift.

Same thing happened to me. I called Fortunoff with the packing slip and they told me who it was from.

Re: Mystery Engagment gift!
we got a gift from fortunoff, it was our hostess set for our flatware. I thought it was anonymous too untl I fully opened the flatware set, not just the outer box.
The card was all the way inside. You might want to dig a bit deeper if you haven't already.

Re: Mystery Engagment gift!
I called Fortunoff. I don't have the packing slip with me. I just logged into our registry online & got the registry # & the full name of the items we received & called the 800 #. I had to call twice, b/c I didn't get through the first time. There were so many options, too, wasn't sure I picked the right one, ( #1) but the assocaite was helpful.
The gift was from FIL's freinds. At first I didn't recognize the last name & I was thinking it was someone who chose the wrong registry!
Now, I have noticed there are a few things purchased that we haven't received yet, maybe I should call up & see who ordered those!
