Mystery Photo Location

Maybe somebody knows what I'm talking about and doesn't think I'm crazy...

I was looking at photographer's websites the past couple of weeks, and I cannot remember for the life of me whose site it was on, so I can't even post it. There were pictures of a bride in groom in this Greek temple looking thing, it looked like the Athena Temple from Delphi (round temple with columns). It was a local photgrapher, so this place must exist somewhere on Long Island/Queens/Brooklyn/on a RH's grounds, etc.

Does anyone know where this mystery spot is???

Re: Mystery Photo Location

keep in mind that some photographers also travel to other places. My photographer angelica glass does alot of weddings in florida. When i picked up my proofs from her in august, the next day she was leaving to greece to do a wedding, and i know shes done weddings in england and other parts of europe.

do you remember if it was a photojournalistic type photograher, or was it a photographer company?

did you see the bigs in a gallery or their blog?

That's true...I think it's more just bothering me that I can't remember what site I was on. Hopefully it does exist locally because it would be a great place to take pictures.

I honestly can't even remember who it was, I've been on so many lately that they're all a blur. I think the background of the webpage was white, and that's all I have lol.

im a bit confused about one thing. You said greek temple, you mean greek church right, so was the ceremony in a greek church? or did they just take pics somewhere that looked like a greek church? this might help a bit

No, it wasn't a church. It was outdoors, and looked like the ancient ruins, only it was an intact building.

Kind of like this, only I believe with a ceiling, and it was not in ruins, just a modern recreation. This is driving me insane!!!

i looked at some photographers sites but dont see anything similar.

Best thing to do is go to your URL history, it saves the last 300 sites you've been on. Make sure you click on 'enhanced history' this is when it will show the last 300 sites. And quickly go to the photographers sites you've seen recently

Thanks...I just went through 3 weeks worth of history, and I couldn't find it anywhere. FRUSTRATION.

Anyone else have an idea? Maybe? Please?

I feel like such a brat...that's not it. I think that's Westbury Gardens if I'm not mistaken?

There was no grass, and it was a completely encapusulated building. The floor was stone, and the columns went around the entire circumference. It seemed like it was in the middle of no where, with no other visible grounds or buildings. The photos were fairly artsy, and had almost a blue/purple tone to them.

I've even enlisted the help of FH, who is telling me that it was definitely something we looked at on my bedroom computer, so why it's not in my history I'll never know.

I appreciate all the help though girls! I just wish I could actually find the real photo, I think we'd have much better luck if it was the real place we were looking at.

I think this is it!!!!

I still can't find the actual photographer's website, and another pic of it showed a mosaic floor inside, which I don't think the pics had. So maybe this isn't the EXACT place, but it's close enough. Either way, if this is the place, I can't take pics up in Yonkers, so that's a little depressing.

But I certainly feel relieved, thank you so much!!!
