I did the permanent french for the wedding and LOVED it. Just did it the Friday b4 the wedding and they stayed for Three weeks. Plus, it's gel so no drying and better for your nails. no chipping

i really hate tips, so i am using nail magic on my nails to make them stronger, and i will probably just get them buffed or painted with a clear coat b/c nail polish doesn't stay on my nails for more than 2 days!!

If you are going to do tips or permanent french, I suggest doing it a while before, like maybe a month.
This will give you time to get used to them on your fingers, so you do things in a 'natural manner'.

I had wraps for years...and then got sick of them and did the naturqal thing for a long time. I just had the UV Gel French done and my nails looks awesome!!! They aren't at all thick like my nails used to be when I got them wrapped and/or tips.

I did and they lasted all of 5 days cuz I was dying to take the off in the HM. Back to short nails for me!

I can't decide either. I used to have tips, but they started to get on my nerves so I took them off & haven't had them in 2 years. I'm debating between just a regular French or french tips

i say no tips, just get a nice fresh manicure with a pale pink color. no need to add anything fake to your wedding day. JMO.

sorry to crash but I've read in alot of books that natural pale pink looks the best and french takes away from your rings in pictures because people focus on the hard white line, I mean we all know they are really looking at the rings, thats just what I have heard !! I hope it helps

I agree if you're gonna get tips, but I have to say this permanent french gel thing has me intrigued! That's if this biotin stuff doesnt work and I break a nail before the wedding!

if you will be uncomfortable then dont get them
if you do decide to get them i suggest getting them pretty short since you never had them before - and the permanent french is nice

If you decide on permanent french, make sure you get recommendations from friends that already have it.
Not every manicurist can do a good job with permanent french, and it does not look good on everyone.
I don't do it because I have short nail beds - the white part would be too wide and would look totally fake. For everyday, I wear a very neutral but not sheer pink shade. I like it so much I'll probably wear it for my wedding too.

I am going the Natural route at least as of now. I had tips on but took them off in February and got Develope 10 and love it. I'll probably go with a light pinkish color or maybe a french. I havent yet decided though.
